Perry Chen is delighted to receive a letter and exquisite greeting card designed by the French animation master Michel Ocelot himself! Perry had the privilege to meet and interview director Ocelot in San Francisco at the premier of his stunning animation feature “Azur & Asmar” in March 2009 when Perry started his film critic career.

Mr. Ocelot was delighted to receive Perry’s updates on his movie adventures. He had a busy schedule through the holiday season. His 10 new little fairy tales will be finished this summer, released on French TV for next Christmas, and in theaters a few months latter, including in 3D version too!

Mr. Ocelot has no immediate trip to the U.S. planned, so he invited Perry to come to Paris! Perry has never been to Paris or any other cities in Europe, and would love to visit some day…

Background on greeting card:

The drawings on the card are from a design for a Hermes foulard. Hermes is absolute French luxury. The artwork came from Azur & Asmar. Their theme for this year is tales, and Monsieur Ocelot is THE storyteller!
